Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Beaumont Hospitals since June 2006. Senior Vice President and Hospital Director, Beaumont Troy Hospital from 1997 to 2006. From 1992 to 1996, Mr. Michalski held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Saint Francis Hospital, Evanston, Illinois. From 1971 to 1992, Mr. Michalski held various leadership positions at Beaumont Hospitals.

Mr. Michalski's professional activities include past President Elect on the Evanston Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, past member of the Board of Directors of Evanston Inventure, and he was a member of the Northern Illinois Business Association. He is a past president of the Board of Directors, Oakland County EMS Medical Control Authority, and past member of the Governor’s Healthcare Task Force on Cost Management. He is currently a Fellows Designate of the American College of Healthcare Executives, presiding on their Regent's Advisory Council for Michigan, President of the Michigan Healthcare Executive Group and Associates (MHEGA), and a Board member of the American Heart Association.
