Welcome to the Web site of the Michigan Healthcare Executive Group and Associates (MHEGA), a professional organization dedicated to healthcare executives in Michigan. The mission of MHEGA is to provide a local forum for the exchange of information and viewpoints to enhance professional development and facilitate networking opportunities. MHEGA is an authorized affiliate of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). The Web site is one of the means by which we share important information to fulfill our mission. Visit the site often to access our newsletter, read the progress of our strategic plan and peruse the list of the open positions in the state. MHEGA Awarded Chapter Merit
Thomas C. Dolan, PhD, FACHE, CAE, president and chief executive officer of ACHE, has announced that MHEGA has received ACHE”s Award of Chapter Merit for achieving one of three award performance standards during 2007. MHEGA, as well as other winning chapters, were highlighted and recognized for their achievements at the recent Congress of Healthcare Leadership in Chicago. MHEGA also received a certificate in recognition of this honor during the Chapter Leaders Reception, held on March 11.

ACHE Management Innovations - 2008 Poster Session
ACHE hosts a Management Innovations Poster Session, each year at the Congress on Healthcare Leadership, where healthcare executives present innovations that address challenges facing their organizations. These innovations are judged on creativity, applicability to other organizations, and usefulness to the healthcare management field.
