Submit your completed Fellow Application along with the $250 application fee by June 30 and the $200 fee to take the Board of Governors Examination in Healthcare Management will be waived pending approval of your application. All follow-up materials (i.e. references) must be submitted by August 31, 2012, for the waiver to be valid.

June 7, 2012 Category I Program: Using Baldridge Criteria to Improve Your Organization’s Performance and Quality

You are invited to attend a MHEGA dinner meeting featuring Nancy Schlichting, CEO, Henry Ford Health System. Ms. Schlichting and her team will discuss Henry Ford Health System's Baldrige journey, starting with the significant cultural change driven by leadership.

The panelists include:

  • Susan Hawkins, Senior Vice-President of Performance Excellence for Henry Ford Health System, responsible for leading strategic planning, process engineering, operational analytics, and clinical quality and safety initiatives across the System. Ms. Hawkins also serves as a leader for the organization's Baldrige-based Performance Excellence initiatives.
  • Rose Glenn, Senior Vice President, Communications, and Chief Marketing Officer for Henry Ford Health System. Ms. Glen has a 28-year career in health care marketing, advertising and public relations.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to learn how following the Baldrige criteria can spur your organization to improve clinical quality and financial performance.

Additionally, ACHE members will receive 1.5 face to face credit for attending the meeting.
